Outpatient Program

Outpatient programs are designed to meet the needs of individuals who require treatment for their addiction or mental health condition but may be unable to take time away from work, school, or other responsibilities. This level of care can also be an excellent choice for those with less severe conditions who need structured support but do not require round-the-clock care and those who may have already completed an inpatient program.

During outpatient care, we provide therapy and support for substance abuse while allowing individuals to maintain their daily routines. With the flexibility of our program, patients may attend scheduled therapy sessions a few hours a day or a few days a week. Patients will participate in individual as well as group counseling and attend educational workshops and skill-building sessions.

The professionals at The Recovery Team will do an assessment and work with each patient to determine the best treatment plan based on their individual needs. Through this comprehensive treatment program, our goal is to deliver the care and support needed for long-lasting recovery.

Outpatient Treatment Options at The Recovery Team

We offer various levels of care at our treatment facility with different ranges of intensity. A partial Hospitalization Program, also known as a PHP, requires daily or almost daily treatment sessions in order to provide more structure and guidance than a standard outpatient program.

An intensive outpatient program (IOP) is less demanding than a PHP. While it still offers more structure than a standard outpatient program, it offers more flexibility than inpatient programs and PHPs.

Standard outpatient treatment may involve one or two therapy sessions a week. This is ideal for those with substance use disorders or mental health conditions that are less severe or those who require ongoing support.

The Recovery Team also offers sober living programs, which provide individuals with communal living with structure and rules promoting sobriety and healthy habits. This flexible level of treatment serves as a healthy transition back into everyday life.

Benefits of Outpatient Care

Outpatient programs offer an array of benefits, including flexibility, ongoing support, affordability, and access to community resources. Through structured therapy sessions, you will learn to identify triggers and develop better coping mechanisms. Our support groups will allow you to connect with others receiving treatment and build solid support networks. Outpatient programs also allow you to be surrounded by family and friends as you recover.

Why Outpatient Treatment is Effective

The Recovery Team recognizes that individuals battling a substance use disorder will often require different levels of care at various stages of their recovery. Patients who enroll in outpatient programs can expect various therapeutic modalities built around their specific needs. Through flexible scheduling options, patients can worry less about missing work or school and focus on recovery.

Individual therapy sessions provided during an outpatient program allow patients to work one-on-one with an experienced therapist to address challenges, identify underlying issues, and develop strategies for sobriety. We also offer group sessions that provide a supportive and empathetic environment where patients can connect with others who are also on a recovery journey.

Choosing the right treatment program for you is essential to a successful recovery. If your substance use disorder is less severe or you just need ongoing support, outpatient programs are a great option for you.
